Common use of Backhoe Compensation Clause in Contracts

Backhoe Compensation. Upon the annual review and approval of the Chief Executive Office, employees in the classification Water Service Worker, Item No. 7849, who are trained and are regularly required to operate a backhoe in the performance of their duties, shall be paid at the step of the salary range for the classification of Item No. 7365, Utility Tractor Operator, which provides a salary increase. This additional compensation shall be paid only for that period of time actually spent operating a backhoe.
