Backwards Compatibility. (a) In addition to the warranties contained in Section 17 of this Contract, the Vendor represents and warrants that each Software Revision Level during the Term of this Contract will be Backwards Compatible with all existing in-service Equipment provided by the Vendor and the immediately preceding Software Revision Level of such Software made available to Customers by the Vendor.
(b) In the event that Software supplied by the Vendor at any System Element Site at any time does not provide Backwards Compatibility as required by this subsection 11.3, then the Vendor will provide, without charge to the Owner, the most current Software Updates of the Software to each such System Element Location, and otherwise take such steps as may be necessary to achieve Backwards Compatibility.

The Vendor represents and warrants (the "Software Backwards Compatibility Warranty") that each Software Maintenance Release, Software Upgrade and Software Enhancement will be Backwards Compatible. In the event that any Software supplied by Vendor does not provide Backwards Compatibility, then Vendor shall take all actions at Vendor’s sole expense so as to achieve Backwards Compatibility.

Backwards Compatibility. APPLIED INFORMATICS recognizes that SOFTWARE is used in mission-critical applications and therefore shall work diligently to ensure continuing bug-free correct operation and backwards compatibility with prior releases.
Backwards Compatibility. Notwithstanding Sections 5.2 and 6, Arista's Extensible Operating System may continue to read and interpret customer configuration files using the commands identified in Appendix A. Arista agrees that after the Transition Period, the following will be implemented in Arista's products: [***].
Backwards Compatibility. (a) In addition to the warranties contained in Article 9, Seller represents and warrants that Software will be Backwards Compatible with the two immediately preceding Software Revision Levels and with all existing in-service Seller Provided Products included in the Network.
(b) In the event that Software supplied by Seller for use in any portion of the Network at any time does not provide Backwards Compatibility as required by this Section 8.4, then Seller will provide, without charge to Customer, the most current Software Updates of the Software to each such portion of the Network, and otherwise take such steps as may be necessary to achieve Backwards Compatibility.
Backwards Compatibility. (a) In addition to the warranties ----------------------- contained in Section 17 of this Contract, the Vendor represents and warrants that each Software Revision Level during the Term of this Contract will be Backwards Compatible with all existing in-service Equipment and all previous Software Revision Levels of the Software made available to the Owner by the Vendor during the three (3) year period prior to the date each such current Software Revision Level is first made available to Owner. So long as the Owner has opted to deploy any one of the last two (2) consecutive Software Revision Levels prior to the current Software Revision Level, the Owner will not be required to purchase more than one Software Revision Level of the Software at each System Element Location to achieve the functionality and features of the most current Software Revision Level of the Software and to maintain Backwards Compatibility.
(b) In the event that Software supplied by the Vendor for any System Element at any time does not provide Backwards Compatibility as required by this subsection 11.4, then the Vendor will provide, without charge to the Owner, the Software Upgrades of the Software to such System Element, and otherwise take such steps as may be necessary to achieve Backwards Compatibility.
Backwards Compatibility. ORBCOMM shall make all commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the ORBCOMM System remains backwards compatible with Subscriber Communicators provisioned on the ORBCOMM System prior to such changes for at least seven (7) years from the date hereof; provided, however, ORBCOMM shall not be responsible for changes to the ORBCOMM System which are required by any relevant Governmental Authority which render the ORBCOMM System incompatible with Subscriber Communicators provisioned prior to such change.
