Bailiffs. Deputy Sheriffs assigned as Xxxxxxxx shall be assigned an eight (8) hour workday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. When Xxxxxxxx are not relieved from duty by the assigned judge, Xxxxxxx’s lunch period will be paid and count as hours worked. When Xxxxxxxx are able to be relieved from duty as determined by the judge, meal periods will not be compensated or count towards hours worked. When assigned full or partial days to patrol they shall work a straight eight (8) hour shift including, when time permits, a thirty (30) minute lunch period.

Bailiffs. Without prejudice to clause 6.1 of this Lease if the Tenant is in default of any relevant covenants contained in this Lease and the Landlord levies distress (or any similar replacement remedy in the event that distress is abolished) and instructs bailiffs or any other appropriate person to remove the Tenant’s goods then such removal can (to the extent permitted by law) be from the Premises or any other offices of the Tenant
Bailiffs. Deputy Sheriffs shall serve as Bailiffs, who shall maintain security and order in the courtroom, and shall respond to panic button activations or radio calls from screening stations for law enforcement assistance. Bailiffs shall be aware of all activity in the courtroom and act to ensure safety and order in concert with the desire of the Judge and established procedures of the Sheriff’s Office.

  • Contractors All LAUSD Contractors and their Representatives are expected to conduct any and all business affiliated with LAUSD in an ethical and responsible manner that fosters integrity and public confidence. A “Contractor” is any individual, organization, corporation, sole proprietorship, partnership, nonprofit, joint venture, association, or any combination thereof that is pursuing or conducting business with and/or on behalf of LAUSD, including, without limitation, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and any other vendors, bidders or proposers. A Contractor’s “Representative” is also broadly defined to include any subcontractors, employees, agents, or anyone else who acts on a Contractor’s behalf.

  • Vendors (a) Section 4.28(a) of the Company Disclosure Letter sets forth, as of the date of this Agreement, the top ten (10) vendors based on the aggregate Dollar value of the Company’s and its Subsidiaries’ transaction volume with such counterparty during the trailing twelve months for the period ending December 31, 2020 (the “Top Vendors”).

  • Expenses and Personnel The Advisor agrees, at its own expense or at the expense of one or more of its affiliates, to render its services and to provide the office space, furnishings, equipment, and personnel as may be reasonably required in the judgment of the trustees and officers of the Trust to perform the services on the terms and for the compensation provided herein. The Advisor shall authorize and permit any of its officers, directors, and employees, who may be elected as trustees or officers of the Trust, to serve in the capacities in which they are elected. Except to the extent expressly assumed by the Advisor herein and except to the extent required by law to be paid by the Advisor, the Trust shall pay all costs and expenses in connection with its operation.

  • Sub-contractors Transfer Agent may, without further consent on the part of Customer, subcontract with other subcontractors for telephone and mailing services as may be required from time to time; provided, however, that the Transfer Agent shall be as fully responsible to the Customer for the acts and omissions of any subcontractor as it is for its own acts and omissions.

  • Janitorial Services Tenant will not employ any person for the purpose of cleaning the Premises or permit any person to enter the Building for such purpose other than Landlord's janitorial service, except with Landlord's prior written consent. Tenant will not necessitate, and will be liable for the cost of, any undue amount of janitorial labor by reason of Tenant's carelessness in or indifference to the preservation of good order and cleanliness in the Premises. Janitorial service will not be furnished to areas in the Premises on nights when such areas are occupied after 9:30 p.m., unless such service is extended by written agreement to a later hour in specifically designated areas of the Premises.
