Ballasts. Provide low-temperature, high-power-factor, low-energy, exterior-type fluorescent lamp ballasts that comply with Certified Ballast Manufacturers Association standards and carry its label.
Ballasts. The ballasts shall be designed, manufactured and supplied in accordance with the relevant standards. The ballasts shall be designed to have a long service life and low power loss. Ballasts shall be mounted using self locking, anti-vibration fixings and shall be easy to remove without de-mounting the fittings. They shall be in dust-tight, non combustible enclosures. The Ballast shall be low loss electronic type and suitable to operate at 180V – 270V. End connections shall be brought out in a suitable terminal block, rigidly fixed to the ballast enclosure. Separate ballast for each lamp shall be provided in case of Multi Lamp Fittings. High Performance Electronic Ballast for CFL Lamp: The ballast should ignite the lamp in less than 2 seconds. In case of mains voltage variation in the range of 202 to 254V the Light output should not change more than +/ -2%. It should be able to operate on DC voltage as backup during emergency. The earth leakage current should be less than 0.5 mA per ballast. The over voltage protection should be such that it can operate for 48 hrs & 2 hrs at a voltage of 320 VAC & 350 VAC respectively. It should pass the insulation resistance test of 500 VDC from Line/ Neutral to Earth. (Not between Line & Neutral). Lamp holders shall comply with relevant standards. They shall have low contact resistance, shall be resistant to wear and shall be suitable for operation at the specified temperature without deterioration in insulation value. They shall hold the lamps in position under normal condition of shock and vibration met with in normal installation and use. Lamp holders for the fluorescent lamps shall be of the spring loaded bi-pin rotor type, Live parts of the lamp holder shall not be exposed during insertion or removal of the lamp or after lamp has been taken out. The lamp holder contacts shall provide adequate pressure on the lamp cap pins when in working position. Lamp holders for incandescent, mercury vapour & metal halide lamps shall be of Edision screw (E.S) type. Starter holders for fluorescent lamps shall confirm to the relevant standards. All material used in the construction of the holder shall be suitable for tropical use. The starter holders shall be so designed that they are mechanically robust and free from any operational difficulties. Ballasts for fluorescent lamps will conform to CSA, C861 and C654-M91 standards. Ballasts for fluorescent lamps with lamp wattage rating exceeding 18 xxxxx and for all T5 type lamps will have an integral “end-of-life” sensing circuit which automatically disconnects the lamp when it is nearing its “end-of-life” state. Fluorescent ballasts will be programmed rapid start electronic type with high power factor, maximum 10% THD, low sound level, non-resetting thermal protection and pressure-sensitive capacitor protection.

Refilling of soap, towel, tissue and sanitary dispensers to be rendered as necessary. 3. High dusting to be rendered as needed.

  • Cleaning 8.1 CONTRACTOR shall, at his own expenses, at all times keep the premises free from accumulation of debris, waste materials, and rubbish, and at the completion of the work, he shall remove his tools and equipment and all surplus materials, debris, waste material, and rubbish and shall leave the premises in a neat and clean condition. If CONTRACTOR does not attend to such cleaning immediately upon request, OWNER shall have the right to have this work done by others and deduct the cost therefore from the payment due CONTRACTOR hereunder.

  • Heating The Hirer shall ensure that no unauthorised heating appliances shall be used on the premises when open to the public without the consent of the management committee. Portable Liquefied Propane Gas (LPG) heating appliances shall not be used.

  • Restrooms The restrooms, toilets, urinals, vanities and the other apparatus shall not be used for any purpose other than that for which they were constructed, and no foreign substance of any kind whatsoever shall be thrown therein. The expense of any breakage, stoppage or damage resulting from the violation of this rule shall be borne by the Tenant whom, or whose employees or invitees, shall have caused it.

  • Ventilation Where noxious or poisonous gases may accumulate, the City shall provide proper protection and ventilation. Proper lighting and ventilation shall be provided for all enclosed working spaces. All work in enclosed and confined spaces shall be performed in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local regulations. Spray painting shall be done only by qualified painters.

  • Electrical Provide drawings for the following systems: .1 Lighting including circuiting and luminaire identification and switching. Also provide illuminance computer printout for all indoor typical indoor spaces and parking lots. .2 Convenience outlets and circuiting, special outlets and circuiting, television outlets, and power systems and equipment.   • Landscaping 3.9.1 All plant material shall conform to the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association’s Canadian Nursery Stock Standard (ninth edition or newer). 3.9.2 There shall be an opaque wood fence or masonry wall at least 1.8 metres tall along the eastern property line extending the length of the surface parking area and access to the underground parking area as generally shown on Schedule B. 3.9.3 Prior to the issuance of a Development Permit, the Developer agrees to provide Landscape Plan that comply with the provisions of this section. The Landscape Plan shall be prepared by a Landscape Architect (a full member, in good standing with Canadian Society of Landscape Architects) and comply with all provisions of this section. 3.9.4 Prior to issuance of the first Occupancy Permit the Developer shall submit to the Development Officer a letter prepared by a member in good standing of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects certifying that all landscaping has been completed according to the terms of this Development Agreement. 3.9.5 Notwithstanding Section 3.9.4, where the weather and time of year do not allow the completion of the outstanding landscape works prior to the issuance of the Occupancy Permit, the Developer may supply a security deposit in the amount of 110 percent of the estimated cost to complete the landscaping. The cost estimate is to be prepared by a member in good standing of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects. The security shall be in favour of the Municipality and shall be in the form of a certified cheque or automatically renewing, irrevocable letter of credit issued by a chartered bank. The security shall be returned to the Developer only upon completion of the work as described herein and illustrated on the Schedules, and as approved by the Development Officer. Should the Developer not complete the landscaping within twelve months of issuance of the Occupancy Permit, the Municipality may use the deposit to complete the landscaping as set out in this section of the Agreement. The Developer shall be responsible for all costs in this regard exceeding the deposit. The security deposit or unused portion of the security deposit shall be returned to the Developer upon completion of the work and its certification. 3.9.6 All landscape areas designed to be installed upon any portion of the building must be supported by documentation from a Structural Engineer indicating that the building design is able to support any required drainage or additional weight caused by the landscaped area.

  • Plumbing fixtures and appliances shall be used only for the purposes for which designed, and no sweepings, rubbish, rags or other unsuitable material shall be thrown or deposited therein. Damage resulting to any such fixtures or appliances from misuse by a tenant or its agents, employees or invitees, shall be paid by such tenant.
