Common use of Bargaining Unit Policy Grievance and Board Policy Grievance Clause in Contracts

Bargaining Unit Policy Grievance and Board Policy Grievance. 31.03.01 The Bargaining Unit or the Board may initiate a policy grievance in accordance with Article 31. The grievance shall state the facts giving rise to the grievance, including: the date on which the incident giving rise to the grievance occurred; shall identify the section or sections of the Collective Agreement claimed violated; shall state the relief requested. In the case of a Union policy grievance, the grievance shall be signed by the President of the Union and, in the case of a Board policy grievance, the grievance shall be signed by the Director of Education.
