Benefits Upon Rehire. An employee who is reemployed within ninety (90) days after the expiration of the leave of absence without right to return shall retain the following benefits: Hire date. Benefit date for purposes of leave accruals and step advances; except that the benefit date will be advanced for the period of time the employee is on leave of absence without right to return. Any sick leave accruals that had not been cashed out will be restored.
