Birth or Adoption Leave. (a) An employee whose spouse is giving birth shall be granted leave with pay up to a maximum of one (1) day. Such leave may be granted on the day before, day of, or day after the birth of the child, or on the day of the employee’s spouse’s admission to, or discharge from the hospital.
