Bona fide Business Use. Communication services are to be utilized for bona fide business purposes. While Coventry Connections (Niagara) Inc. acknowledges that users may send or receive occasional personal emails or utilize the internet for personal matters on an incidental basis, during breaks and before and after their shifts, it is expected that Users will act responsibly and in the best interest of the Coventry Connections (Niagara) Inc. when using its communications services. Users are forbidden from using Coventry Connections (Niagara) Inc. electronic communications systems for charitable endeavors, private business activities, or amusement/entertainment purposes unless expressly approved by the Coventry Connections (Niagara) Inc. management. Examples of unacceptable or inappropriate personal communications uses include but are not limited to the following: • utilizing Coventry Connections (Niagara) Inc.’s facilities in conflict with Coventry Connections (Niagara) Inc.’s business objectives, such as to operate a personal business or seek alternate employment; • broadcasting personal points of view such as commentaries on social or political issues; • sending e-mail chain letters; • participating in social networking sites or internet chat groups; • using Coventry Connections (Niagara) Inc.’s equipment and facilities to buy or sell items; or • using Coventry Connections (Niagara) Inc.’s equipment and facilities to participate in online games. Users are reminded that the use of corporate resources, including electronic communications, should never create either the appearance or the reality of inappropriate use.

  • DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE OR HISTORICALLY UNDERUTILIZED BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS The Engineer agrees to comply with the requirements set forth in Attachment H, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or Historically Underutilized Business Subcontracting Plan Requirements with an assigned goal or a zero goal, as determined by the State.

  • BUSINESS PROFITS 1. The profits of an enterprise of a Contracting State shall be taxable only in that State unless the enterprise carries on business in the other Contracting State through a permanent establishment situated therein. If the enterprise carries on business as aforesaid, the profits of the enterprise may be taxed in the other State but only so much of them as is attributable to that permanent establishment.

  • Outside Activities Subject to the Articles of Incorporation and any agreements entered into by the General Partner or its Affiliates with the Partnership or a Subsidiary, any officer, director, employee, agent, trustee, Affiliate or stockholder of the General Partner shall be entitled to and may have business interests and engage in business activities in addition to those relating to the Partnership, including business interests and activities substantially similar or identical to those of the Partnership. Neither the Partnership nor any of the Limited Partners shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement in any such business ventures, interest or activities. None of the Limited Partners nor any other Person shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement or the partnership relationship established hereby in any such business ventures, interests or activities, and the General Partner shall have no obligation pursuant to this Agreement to offer any interest in any such business ventures, interests and activities to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, even if such opportunity is of a character which, if presented to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, could be taken by such Person.
