Inappropriate Use. There may be content on the Internet or otherwise available through the Service which may be offensive to some individuals, or which may not be in compliance with all local laws, regulations and other rules. For example, it is possible to obtain access to content that is pornographic or offensive, particularly for children. ASK4 assumes no responsibility for the content contained on the Internet or otherwise available through the Service. You assume the risk of accessing content through the Service, and neither ASK4 nor any of its employees, agents or suppliers shall have any liability for any claims, losses, actions, damages, suits or proceedings arising out of or otherwise relating to access to such content. Content questions or complaints should be addressed to the content provider and not to ASK4. You are solely responsible for any information that you publish on the Internet. You must ensure that the recipient of the content is appropriate. For example, you must take appropriate precautions to prevent minors from receiving inappropriate content. ASK4 and its employees reserve the right (but are under no obligation) to refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, that it, in its sole discretion, deems to be offensive, indecent, or otherwise inappropriate regardless of whether such material or its dissemination is unlawful.
Inappropriate Use. The following are examples of inappropriate use of technology resources: Using the resources for any illegal purpose, including threatening school safety; Accessing the resources to knowingly alter, damage, or delete District property or information, or to breach any other electronic equipment, network, or electronic communications system in violation of the law or District policy; Damaging electronic communications systems or electronic equipment, including knowingly or intentionally introducing a virus to a device or network, or not taking proper security steps to prevent a device or network from becoming vulnerable; Disabling or attempting to disable or bypass any Internet filtering device; Encrypting communications to avoid security review; Using someone’s account without permission; Pretending to be someone else when posting, transmitting, or receiving messages; Attempting to read, delete, copy, modify, or interfere with another user’s posting, transmission, or receipt of electronic media; Using resources to engage in conduct that harasses others; Sending, posting, or possessing materials that are abusive, obscene, pornographic, sexually oriented, threatening, harassing, damaging to another’s reputation, or illegal, including material that constitutes prohibited harassment and “sexting;” Using inappropriate language such as cursing, vulgarity, ethnic or racial slurs, and any other inflammatory language; Posting or transmitting pictures of students without obtaining prior permission from all individuals depicted or from parents of depicted students who are under the age of 18; Violating others’ intellectual property rights, including downloading or using copyrighted information without permission from the copyright holder; Wasting school resources through improper use of the District’s technology resources, including sending spam; and Gaining unauthorized access to restricted information or resources. Consequences for Inappropriate Use The following are possible consequences of inappropriate use of technology resources: Suspension of access to the District’s technology resources; Revocation of the account; or Other disciplinary or legal action in accordance with the District’s policies and applicable laws.
Inappropriate Use. The following are examples of inappropriate charges that may result in cancellation of the state travel card: • Meals or tips while on business in headquarters or residence city, • Alcoholic beverages, • A long-distance personal call from the traveler's headquarters, • Airfare to go to an amusement park, • Renting a video for personal viewing unless rented from a hotel and billed as part of the lodging expense, and • Tips for a bellhop to carry bags. Charge Card Payment Responsibility HHS agencies assume no liability for any charges made on any state travel charge card, and use normal voucher procedures to reimburse expenses. To avoid delinquency, the traveler must pay the travel charge card bill upon receipt of the statement and without regard of the travel reimbursement status.
Inappropriate Use. Each system user is expected to comply with all District policies governing Network and Internet access and to abide by the generally accepted rules of network etiquette. These general rules include, but are not limited to, the following:

Students will be in violation of the signed Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) if any of the following occur: ● Wireless Hotspots not provided by LISD are prohibited on the LISD network ● Installing Apps on a District owned device that are on the District Unapproved Apps list ● Circumventing the LISD App Store to load Apps not approved by LISD ● Using the District’s electronic communications system for illegal purposes including, but not limited to, cyberbullying, gambling, pornography, and computer hacking ● Disabling or attempting to disable any system monitoring or filtering security measures ● Sharing usernames and passwords with others; and/or borrowing someone else’s username, password, or account access ● Purposefully opening, viewing, using or deleting files belonging to another system user without permission ● Electronically posting data (including but not limited to audio recordings, video recordings, images, and personal information) about others or oneself when it is not related to a class project and / or without the permission of all parties. ● Downloading or plagiarizing copyrighted information without permission from the copyright holder ● Intentionally introducing a virus or other malicious programs onto the District’s system ● Electronically posting messages or accessing materials that are abusive, obscene, sexually oriented, threatening, harassing, damaging to another’s reputation, or illegal ● Gaining unauthorized access to restricted information or network resources
