Boot & Tool Allowance. The Employer shall provide to each employee an annual Tool and PPE allowance of two hundred dollars ($200.00), beginning after completion of one (1) year of continuous employment. The allowance shall be paid upon submission of receipts for tools listed in Schedule “B” or for PPE which is listed as exclusions in Article 16. 01. Employees shall be reimbursed for up to the total value of this allowance. Any residual amount shall not carry forward from year to year. The total allowance available will reset upon each subsequent anniversary date of their employment.

Boot & Tool Allowance. The Employer agrees to reimburse all employees with twelve (12) months of service, or more, up to the following amounts per calendar year for the purchase of workwear, safety footwear, and/or tools (including batteries). December 1, 2020 - $160.00 December 1, 2021 - $170.00 December 1, 2022- $180.00 To be eligible for reimbursement, the employee must submit a receipt showing the purchase of workwear or safety footwear. Employees who become eligible mid-year shall have the annual amount pro-rated. Unused annual balance can be carried over in the following year within the three (3) year period of the collective agreement. Annual Credit added to the employee accounts on the contract year effective date. All unused balance disappears at the expiry of the collective agreement.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:- (i) Electrical workers at Grade EW 5 and beyond; (ii) Electrical workers performing the duties of: (A) Television Antenna Installer/Erector; (B) Television/Radio/Electronic Equipment Servicemen; and (iii) Apprentices - Contained within the relevant Apprentice Wage Rates.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Travel Allowance 18.01 The existing Board travel allowance shall be paid to an Occasional Teacher. This shall only apply when replacing an itinerant teacher.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Auto Allowance The Company shall provide to Executive a car allowance in an amount equal to $1,000 per month during the Employment Period.

  • Automobile Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive with an automobile allowance in the amount of $1,000.00 per month to be allocated at the Executive’s discretion, or such other monthly amount designated by the Board, and that allowance shall be payable in regular installments in accordance with the Company’s general payroll practices.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.
