BRAKING. 5.1.3.1. Vehicles subject to the requirements of marginal 10 221 of ADR shall fulfil all relevant requirements of Regulation No. 13 including those of annex 5.

To determine the stopping characteristics of the vehicle combination on level, paved surfaces while braking from road speeds up to maximum vehicle speed. To determine the holding ability of the service and parking brakes of the test item(s) on longitudinal grades. To determine if the endurance and heat dissipation capability of the combination brake system is adequate at GCW.

C8.212 – MARKET-RELATED CONTRACT TERM ADDITION (11/08). The term of this contract may be adjusted when a drastic reduction in wood product prices has occurred in accordance with 36 CFR 223.52. The Producer Price Index used to determine when a drastic reduction in price has occurred is stated in A20. Purchaser will be notified whenever the Chief determines that a drastic reduction in wood product prices has occurred. If the drastic reduction criteria specified in 36 CFR 223.52 are met for 2 consecutive calendar quarters, after contract award date, Contracting Officer will add 1 year to the contract term, upon Purchaser’s written request. For each additional consecutive quarter such a drastic reduction occurs, Contracting Officer will, upon written request, add an additional 3 months to the term during Normal Operating Season, except that no single 3-month addition shall extend the term of the contract by more than one year. Contracting Officer must receive Purchaser’s written request for a market-related contract term addition before the expiration of this contract. No more than 3 years shall be added to a contract's term by market-related contract term addition unless the following conditions are met:

  • Glazing All new and replacement exterior windows shall have sealed, low emmissivity, insulating glass units which are manufactured by members of SIGMA and IGCC. Sealed insulating glass shall meet ASTM E774, class B. Glass shall be hermetically dual sealed, inert gas filled, double pane units with exterior 3/16” bronze float glass (IoE second surface), ½” air space, and interior 3/16” clear float glass. Insulated panels, if used, shall be 1” laminated panels equal to Xxxxx Industries architectural panels with a porcelain fused-on finish. Wired or clear fire-rated glass shall be UL approved. Safety glass shall be tempered or laminated, and shall meet ANSI 297.1 standard.

  • Blasting Blasting shall be permitted only for road construction purposes unless advance permission is obtained from Forest Service. Whenever the Industrial Fire Precaution Level is II or greater, a fire security person equipped with a long handled round point No. 0 or larger shovel and a 5 gallon backpack pump can filled with water, will stay at location of blast for 1 hour after blasting is done. Blasting may be suspended by Forest Service, in areas of high rate of spread and resistance to control. Fuses shall not be used for blasting. Explosive cords shall not be used without permission of Forest Service, which may specify conditions under which such explosives may be used and precautions to be taken.

  • Fueling delivering or dispensing fuel, defueling and refueling, or any other transfer of fuel on Airport property.

  • Retrenchment At any time during an individual’s service, the individual may be subject to retrenchment in accordance with the provisions of Article 22 of the Agreement. In such cases, the notice provisions and all other terms of that article shall apply, anything above to the contrary notwithstanding.

  • Compaction 11.1 Concrete shall be thoroughly compacted and fully worked around the reinforcement, around embedded fixtures and into corners of the formwork.

You will be encouraged to visit the LIFE Center to see what it is like. If you are interested in enrolling, a LIFE Provider representative and the Independent Enrollment Broker will assist you with the enrollment process. You should be prepared to participate in phone calls and/or visits with both the LIFE Provider and Independent Enrollment Broker in order to complete your enrollment process.
