During the first year of assistance to a Beginning Teacher, the Consulting Teacher shall concentrate the assistance in the area of the CSTP. In the second year of assistance to a Beginning Teacher, assuming continued employment, the Consulting Teacher will focus the assistance in the areas listed by the evaluating Principal as needing improvement and/or assistance.

The Consulting Teacher will work in conjunction with the evaluator and those two individuals will develop the Professional Growth Plan (required by the State) for all temporary and probationary teachers in conjunction with the evaluator.

  • BEGINNING TEACHERS definition Beginning teachers meet the Teaching Council criteria for provisional certification as a teacher. Beginning Teachers work under the guidance of others. They undertake “advice and guidance” programmes to assist in the development of the competencies required for full certification.

  • Required Beginning Date The Participant’s entire interest will be distributed, or begin to be distributed, to the Participant no later than the Participant’s required beginning date.

  • EMPLOYMENT OF RETIRED TEACHERS A. For purposes of salary schedule placement, a retired Teacher will be granted a maximum of ten (10) years’ service credit and their educational attainment. A retired Teacher may not advance beyond Level 10 on the salary schedule.

  • Tax Sheltered Annuity Voluntary adjunct employee salary reductions for Internal Revenue Code Section 403(b) tax-sheltered annuities and 457(b) deferred compensation shall be available to adjunct employees covered by this Agreement. Contracts shall be arranged individually through the Office of the Executive Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services or designee subject to regulation by the College.

  • Traveling Teachers 1. Each traveling teacher shall be given a minimum of fifteen (15) minutes to travel from one building to another. The fifteen (15) minutes shall come from the total student contact time of the traveling teacher.
