Calculation of Individual Salary Increases. The salaries of individual employees shall be calculated by the same method used to calculate new salary scales as set out in 1 above, however; no employee shall, as a result of the application of the general increase, be paid below the minimum or above the maximum of the salary scale for his/her job. The exception to this will be any employee who, as at 1996-04-01, was receiving special salary treatment, in which case special treatment will continue in accordance with the terms of the Collective Agreement.
