California Electric Code. The Contractor shall be responsible for adherence to all of the above rules and reporting requirements of Part 228: Hours of Service and Part 219: Control of Alcohol and Drug Use including those regulations which require pre-employment drug testing and random drug testing of employees engaged in the installation and testing of signal facilities, and the reporting and tracking of employees injured in the performance of work on a railroad. In addition to the regulations and code requirements specified in this Section, materials and equipment provided by the Contractor shall conform to the latest standards of the AREMA Communication and Signal Manuals and the Authority’s signal and communications standards and specifications. Where differences exist between the requirements of the various standards and procedures, the Authority’s PTC & Systems Engineer or designate shall determine which standard or procedure shall be followed.

You may be required to submit proof of claim denial from Your insurer, if applicable.
