Common use of Call Back Pay Guarantee Clause in Contracts

Call Back Pay Guarantee. An employee who is called in and required to work outside his/her regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of four (4) hours at overtime rates whenever there is a break between the employee’s regularly scheduled hours and the work the employee is called to do. When the work called back for is completed, the employee shall be allowed to leave. Time earned on a call back may be compensated with time off in lieu at the rate of time-and-one-half provided approval of the Department Head has been obtained.
