Common use of Call-In Pay/Court Pay Clause in Contracts

Call-In Pay/Court Pay. When a bargaining unit member is called back for work by the Appointing Authority or his or her designee for hours not abutting his or her regular shift hours, he or she shall be paid or credited with a minimum of three (3) hours at the appropriate rate of pay. This provision shall apply to employees called in to off-duty court appearances and department meetings. If a member is given at least twenty (20) days' advance notice of a call-in for a planned event, such as P.T. testing or any other reason, then compensation will be on an hour-for-hour basis.
