Call-Ins On Holiday. When regular full-time employees are called into work on a Holiday all hours worked as a result of the call-in will be at the overtime rate until the employee’s regular shift begins.

Sunday Employees at the Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:29 p.m. Sunday.
Holidays on Saturday or Sunday When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.

The employer shall determine an average amount for this payment on the basis of the allowances paid in the twelve calendar months preceding the month in which the employee takes holidays. If the employee has not been employed for twelve months, the average amount will be fixed at the average in the calendar months up to the month in which the employee takes holidays.
