Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday. For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday, and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.
Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday. (b) Where there is a work dependency between Employees covered by this Agreement and private sector Employees, the Parties may, by mutual agreement, amend (a) above.
Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday. When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the Friday before shall be a holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday following shall be a holiday.
Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday. For employees whose work week is from Monday to Friday inclusive, when any paid holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday and is not being proclaimed as being observed on another specified day, the Commission shall designate, at its option, either the preceding Friday or the following Monday to be observed as the paid holiday. Where two consecutive paid holidays fall on Saturday and Sunday and are not proclaimed as being observed on the two other specified days, the Commission shall designate, at its option, either the preceding Friday and the following Monday or the following Monday and Tuesday as the paid holidays.
Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday. When a Paid Holiday falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, the Employer shall observe the holiday on either the preceding Friday or the succeeding Monday and the Employer shall advise the employees at least six (6) months in advance of the day to be observed as a holiday.

Saturday Holiday—In the event any of the specified holidays occur on Saturday, all employees covered by this Agreement who fulfill the qualifications for receiving holiday pay in the week immediate- ly preceding such holiday Saturday, shall receive such holiday with pay at the straight time rate of pay. Where a holiday occurs on Sat- urday, it shall be celebrated on Friday if so deemed by Proclama- tion (Md.) or Executive Order (D.C.). Sunday Holiday—A holiday which falls on Sunday shall be cele- brated on Monday.
Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday. Where any of the above noted holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday, and are not proclaimed as being observed on some alternate day, the following Monday shall be observed if the Statutory Holiday falls on Sunday or Friday shall be observed if the Statutory Holiday falls on a Saturday.
Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday.
(a) On or before February 15th of each year, the Employer shall post a schedule indicating the dates on which all holidays occurring during the one year period immediately following, as provided for in Clause 14.1, are to be observed. When any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday or a Sunday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the schedule posted by the Employer shall specify that the holiday will be observed on the preceding Friday or the following Monday (or the preceding Thursday or the following Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies on the Friday or Monday). The day so specified for observance of the holiday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement. Where necessitated by operational requirements or the Employer's competitive environment, the Employer may alter the day designated on the schedule as the day of observance from Monday to Friday, or vice versa, upon giving not less than 14 days written notice to the Union and the employees. For an employee whose regular workweek falls between Monday and Friday, and for casuals, when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as observed on some other day, the designated statutory holiday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; and when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the designated statutory holiday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.
(b) For an employee who is subject to working on a Saturday or a Sunday as part of his/her regular schedule, and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the holiday shall be observed on the day that it occurs for the purposes of this agreement.
(c) In no case shall an employee be paid for the same statutory holiday twice.
Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday. When a holiday listed in Section 10.1 above falls on a Sunday, the following workday, not a holiday, shall be deemed to be the holiday in lieu of the day observed. When such a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday, not a holiday, shall be deemed to be the holiday in lieu of the day observed. Employees shall be paid or receive compensatory time off for all hours worked on a holiday, in addition to the regular pay, at the rate of one and one-half (1-½) times their regular rate of pay.
