Call-up to Active Service Sample Clauses

Call-up to Active Service. In the case of an employee being called to active military duty, Raytheon will place the employee on a Military Leave of Absence for the duration of the active military duty period. For the first six months of that absence, Raytheon will provide differential pay to the employee. Differential pay is defined as the difference between the daily rate of military pay and the daily rate of regular Company pay (on a salary averaged basis), multiplied by the number of Company workdays missed. Unless the employee chooses to use available annual leave, the remainder of the absence will be unpaid. Differential pay will not be available until the employee provides a copy of the active service call-up orders received from the Department of Defence. Additionally, if not shown on the written orders, the employee must provide documentation from the Department of Defence showing the rate of remuneration to be received from the military.
