Campus Security Officers do not have peace officer authority or power and will not carry firearms.
Campus Security Officers. Those Bargaining Unit Members that are regular Campus Security Officers will receive a shift differential pay of five percent (5%) for time worked on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) when the time is part of their regular work week.
Campus Security Officers. The campus security officers shall cooperate with local law enforcement in accordance with an agreement to be entered into in accordance with the requirements of Education Code Section 67381. The agreement shall address, but not be limited to, the following:

(b) The University and the Union agree that, where twelve (12) hour shifts are scheduled in Campus Security Services, the following will apply: SHIFT CYCLES: Twelve (12) hour shifts rotate over an eight (8) week cycle - normally based on two (2) days on, two (2) nights on, and four (4) days off.
Campus Security Officers. (CSO I) will perform security functions at a particular facility/program under the direction of the appropriate administrator of that facility/program. This is a ten- (10-) month position.
