Cancellation of Shifts. Where less than four (4) hours notice is given to a part time employee that their shift is cancelled, time and one half (1 ½) of the employees regular straight time hourly rate will be paid for all hours on the employee’s next shift worked. Such changes will not constitute a layoff.

Cancellation of Shifts. Where If an employee is scheduled to work, and no work is available, the employee whose shift is cancelled with less than twenty-four (424) hours notice notice, is given entitled to a part time employee half the pay for that their shift is cancelled, time and one half (1 ½) of the employees regular straight time hourly rate will be paid for all hours on at the employee’s next shift worked. Such changes will not constitute a layoff's regular rate.
