Ceremonial Rites Leave. A teacher shall be entitled to be absent from work for one (1) day per school year to attend or participate in rites, ceremonies or services of significance to the teacher which occur during the teacher’s workday. The day used shall be deducted from the teacher’s family illness allotment.
