Chair of the Steering Committee. (a) The activities of the Steering Committee shall be managed by the chair of the Steering Committee (the “Chair”). The Director-General of the Office of the Prime Minister shall serve as the Chair. The Chair shall preside over all meetings of the Steering Committee. The Director-General of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Management shall be the vice- chair of the Steering Committee (the “Vice-Chair”). In the case of the absence of the Chair and of any alternate designated by the Chair, the Vice-Chair, or any alternate designated by the Vice- Chair, shall act as chair for the purposes of such meeting. In the case of absence of the Chair and the Vice-Chair, or any alternates designated by such Members, the Voting Members present shall elect one of such Voting Members to act as chair for the purposes of such meeting.

  • Steering Committee The Project Manager shall set up a Steering Committee for the Project, consisting of representatives from the Department, the Contractor, and any other key organisations whom the project will impact on, to be agreed between the parties.
