CHECK-OFF UNION DUES. The Employer agrees that it will make payroll deductions for Union dues, from employees in the certified bargaining unit, upon receipt of a written assignment executed for that purpose by each employee. The Union recognizes and agrees that the Employer’s obligation to deduct Union dues is expressly restricted to making only such deductions as are permitted by law, by this Agreement, and by the valid assignment of each employee.
