Children’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. 4.2.1. The Children’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is based within the Reception Service, it includes MASH (strategy meeting manager) and IRT manager and a Domestic Abuse Manager and one Senior Practitioner responsible for screening all standard domestic abuse notifications, working with the Domestic Abuse Team Manager with chairing DA Triage, the Senior Practitioner is also Social Care’s representative at MARAC and Drive. The three social care Team Managers based in the Safeguarding Hub, have rotational responsibility for: • All contacts and referrals on cases not open to Children’s Social Care – Initial Response Team Manager • All cases where there are allegations that a child is suffering significant harm and a multi-agency response is required and the child is not already open to social care - Multi Agency Strategy Meeting Manager • All Domestic Abuse notifications on cases not currently open to social care within the city where there are children living in the family environment – IRT 2 Manager, who also supported the IRT Manager and Senior Practitioner.

  • SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS 8.1 The Service Provider will have ultimate responsibility for the management and control of any Regulated Activity provided under this agreement and for the purposes of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Xxx 0000.

  • Emergency School Closing 24.1 If as determined by the Superintendent, circumstances of weather, energy crisis, power failure, lack of water or heat, work stoppage, epidemic or other civil or natural emergencies, including threats or acts of violence, make it impossible or unsafe to open the schools or to keep open a school or schools, then the Superintendent shall act in such emergency situations to preserve and protect the lives and property of pupils and staff personnel. Such absence(s) shall not result in loss of pay or accumulated leave days to the teacher.

  • Emergency Services Leave 6.17.1 Subject to operational requirements, paid leave of absence shall be granted by the Employer to an Employee who is an active volunteer member of State Emergency Service, St Xxxx Ambulance Brigade, Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, Xxxx Fire Brigades, Volunteer Marine Rescue Services Groups or FESA Units, in order to allow for attendances at emergencies as declared by the recognised authority.
