Social Care. The Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act was passed on 1 May 2014 and comes into effect in April 2016. It will bring with it a change in the local authorities’ responsibilities for adults in prison, Approved Premises and Bail Accommodation and children in youth detention accommodation. The equivalent in England is the Care Act which comes into effect in April 2015. The Care Act 2014 in England, and the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 reflect similar arrangements, although in Wales the legislation covers children and young people as well as adults. From April 2016, local authorities in Wales will be legally responsible for providing information, advice and assistance to support well-being, assessment and related care and support plans of those:  Children who are in the secure estate (whether in England or Wales) who will be returning to communities in Wales, and  Certain categories of English children placed in the secure estate in Wales. PSP in Wales is working with Welsh Government, local Government and other key stakeholders in Wales to co-design and support the implementation. This includes supporting the development of a prisoners’ social care pathway and the delivery structures for prisons in Wales

From April 2015 English local authorities will be responsible for assessing and meeting the eligible social care needs of adult prisoners in England. PSP in England will have a key role in working with Local Authorities to introduce new social care assessment and delivery within establishments. The Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 introduces broadly comparable responsibilities for prisons in Wales from 2016. Public Sector Prisons in Wales will be expected to work together with NOMS in Wales, the Welsh Government and local authorities to prepare for the implementation of the Act from April 2016.

  • Social Media As part of the functionality of the Website, you may link your account with online accounts you may have with third party service providers (each such account, a “Third Party Account”) by either: (i) providing your Third Party Account login information through the Website; or (ii) allowing Company to access your Third Party Account, as is permitted under the applicable terms and conditions that govern your use of each Third Party Account.   • Health Care Coverage The Company shall continue to provide Executive with medical, dental, vision and mental health care coverage at or equivalent to the level of coverage that the Executive had at the time of the termination of employment (including coverage for the Executive’s dependents to the extent such dependents were covered immediately prior to such termination of employment) for the remainder of the Term of Employment, provided, however that in the event such coverage may no longer be extended to Executive following termination of Executive’s employment either by the terms of the Company’s health care plans or under then applicable law, the Company shall instead reimburse Executive for the amount equivalent to the Company’s cost of substantially equivalent health care coverage to Executive under ERISA Section 601 and thereafter and Section 4980B of the Internal Revenue Code (i.e., COBRA coverage) for a period not to exceed the lesser of (A) 18 months after the termination of Executive’s employment or (B) the remainder of the Term of Employment, and provided further that (1) any such health care coverage or reimbursement for health care coverage shall cease at such time that Executive becomes eligible for health care coverage through another employer and (2) any such reimbursement shall be made no later than the last day of the calendar year following the end of the calendar year with respect to which such coverage or reimbursement is provided. The Company shall have no further obligations to the Executive as a result of termination of employment described in this Section 8(a) except as set forth in Section 12.
