Christmas Tree Collection Clause Samples

Christmas Tree Collection. The Contractor shall provide a special collection for Christmas trees for a two (2) week period in early January. The exact dates shall be mutually determined by the Contractor and the Village. The Contractor agrees to perform this once a year service at no charge to the Village residents.
Christmas Tree Collection. As part of Yard Waste Collection services, the Contractor shall provide a separate Collection of live (cut) Christmas trees during each of the first three full weeks of January, at no extra cost to Customers. Collection services shall be provided on the same day of the week as the customer’s regular Refuse and Recycling Collection. Customers will be instructed by the City to set out “clean” Christmas trees only. Customers may not wrap trees in plastic bags and must remove all ornaments, tinsel and other foreign debris. Clean Christmas trees may then be set out next to carts, but only during the designated period. If a Christmas tree is set out and is not sufficiently clean (e.g., containing ornaments, tinsel, etc.), the Contractor should not collect and should attach an education tag to the tree with specific instructions about why it was not collected and how the Customer can still discard their tree (e.g., remove the contaminants, where it can be taken, etc.). The Contractor shall not mix other types of Refuse or inorganic materials with the Christmas trees or take any action to make the Christmas tree material unacceptable to the operators of the processing site.
Christmas Tree Collection. Company will collect Christmas trees placed whole at the curb on regular collection days each year from December 26 through January 15, or for a mutually agreed upon time range not to exceed 2 weeks. The Christmas trees shall be limited in length to five (5) feet. Longer trees, must be cut in half. Organic Waste cart lids must close completely. All collected Christmas trees shall be disposed of by Company in the same manner as other green waste. Trees collected after this time period will incur a cost per tree per Exhibit C.
Christmas Tree Collection. The CONTRACTOR shall Collect Christmas Trees on the regular Collection day set out at the curb during the three week period beginning December 26, and annually thereafter during the term of this Contract. CONTRACTOR shall deliver the Collected Christmas Trees to an appropriate facility for processing. Christmas Trees shall not be limited by size or weight, but must be generated by and at the Residential Service Unit wherein the Christmas tree is Collected. This annual service shall be provided at no additional charge to the Service Recipient or to the City.
Christmas Tree Collection. The Contractor will, without additional compensation, collect all Christmas trees discarded by all Single-family, multi-family, and mobile home park residents for each collection route during the first two regularly scheduled collection days after Christmas Day for each collection route. Christmas trees must be cut to three (3) foot by three (3) foot dimensions and placed next to the cart on the scheduled service day. Residential customers will also have the option to deliver their treetrees to the South Tahoe Refuse Transfer Station/MRF facility during the month of January at no charge to the customers.
Christmas Tree Collection. Curbside Collections of Christmas Trees from Single Family Residential Dwellings receiving individual Collection Service shall be performed free of charge for two collection cycles following Christmas Day. Contractor shall provide adequate Roll Off containers for Christmas Trees drop-off at District’s Administrative Center for one month starting December 26. Contractor shall accept and manage Christmas Trees dropped-off at CR&R’s service yard in Phelan.
Christmas Tree Collection. The Contractor will be required to pick up Christmas trees at the curb during the month of January on the resident’s regular yard waste collection day.
Christmas Tree Collection. During the month of January of each year, or as otherwise approved by the Jurisdiction Contract Manager, Contractor shall Collect Christmas trees from Multi-Family Customers, excluding Customers in Low-Population Areas, on dates as arranged by the Contractor and each Multi-Family Property Owner or manager. Contractor shall offer each Multi-Family Property Owner or manager the option to receive Christmas tree Collection service in Bins or Drop Boxes, which Contractor shall provide for such service. Contractor shall also offer each Multi-Family Property Owner or manager the option to receive un-containerized Christmas tree Collection service Curbside, or from designated location at the Multi-Family Premises mutually agreed upon between Contractor and the Property Owner or manager. Contractor shall Collect from Multi-Family Customers un-flocked, and undecorated holiday trees that are placed at the designated Collection location during the agreed-upon time period. Christmas tree Collection services shall be provided at no additional charge to the Jurisdiction or the Customer. Contractor may require that Christmas trees be cut into sections no greater than six feet (6’). Contractor shall deliver all Collected Christmas trees to the Approved/Designated Organic Waste Processing Facility for Processing. Christmas trees that are flocked shall be Collected, but may be delivered to the Approved/Designated Disposal Facility at the discretion of the Contractor. Christmas trees that contain tinsel or other decorations, or are attached to a tree stand are not required to be Collected; however, Contractor shall affix a non-Collection notice to the tree informing the Customer of the reason(s) for non-Collection. Exhibit C – Jurisdiction Services Guidance: The following programs are optional and may not be programs that every Jurisdiction chooses to include in its franchise agreement. Note that if Jurisdictions choose to implement the “On-Call Clean Up Service” or the “Recycling Drop-Off Events” and the programs involve the Collection of Yard Trimmings, SB 1383 Regulatory requirements will be triggered as the programs entail the Collection and Processing of SSGCOW. If the Jurisdiction has non-exclusive franchise agreements, this Exhibit is not likely to be included. The Jurisdiction would separately contract with one of the non-exclusive franchise haulers to provide Jurisdiction services.

Christmas Tree Collection. Following December 25 each calendar and through the first two weeks in January, CONTRACTOR shall, on the same day as is regularly designated for Solid Waste collection at each Dwelling Unit, collect and dispose of residents' Christmas trees. The Christmas tree must be placed directly alongside the resident's Cart, with all ornaments removed. Landscape stickers shall not be required for the collection of Christmas trees.
