Collection Standards. A. Implementation of services. Contractor’s implementation of the services required by this Agreement shall occur in a smooth and seamless manner so that Customers and/or Generators do not experience disruption in Collection services when services are initiated on the Commencement Date. Contractor shall be responsible for managing implementation of new Collection services and other related services. B. Servicing containers and missed pick-ups
Collection Standards. 735 A. Servicing Containers. 736 Contractor shall pick up and return each Container to the location where the Container 737 was placed property for Collection. Contractor shall place the Containers upright with lids 738 properly secured. 739 Contractor, at the request of Customers, may provide special services including: (i) 740 unlocking Containers; (ii) accessing Container enclosures with a key; or, (iii) pulling or 741 pushing Containers to the Collection vehicle. Contractor may charge Customers for extra 742 services at the Rates approved by the RA Members for such services or other special 743 services as mutually agreed upon.
Collection Standards. The recycling collection service shall use each household’s choice of a 95 gallon recycling toter supplied and maintained by the Contractor. The Contractor shall leave the containers used at the point of collection. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damage caused to such containers by the Contractor, except from weather or normal wear and tear. Residents may not use their own containers. The cost of the curbside recycling program shall be built into the flat rate for refuse collection with no additional charge to either the HOA or resident for curbside recycling service.

Collection Standards. In order for an approved Refuse Container to be collected, each Refuse Container must be properly tagged, which shall mean that it has a pre- paid Refuse Tag exclusively supplied by the Contractor securely and visibly affixed thereto. There shall be no limit on the number of containers placed out for collection by a given household, provided all containers are properly tagged with an appropriate refuse disposal tag. The Contractor is required to provide a tagging system for any yard waste that does not get collected. Each tag or label must provide a brief explanation as to why the material was not collected, including, but not limited to, overcapacity, container overweight, unacceptable refuse, no refuse tag, and the like.
Collection Standards. The Contractor shall provide at a minimum once a week, same-day Refuse, Yard Waste and Recyclable collection service to all Residential properties which receive Curbside collection. Collection routes shall be established by the Contractor. Boundary line streets shall have both sides of the street collected on the same day. A Refuse Cart system shall be offered for all Residential dwelling units in the Village. The Contractor shall uphold a monthly flat service rate for one Refuse Cart. Under the Refuse Cart system, in order for an approved Refuse Container, other than the Refuse Cart, to be collected, the second and any subsequent Refuse Container must be properly stickered. This means that it has a pre-paid Refuse sticker exclusively supplied by the Contractor securely and visibly affixed thereto. There shall be no limit on the number of Refuse Containers placed out for collection by a given household. There shall be no sticker required for the Refuse Cart. The Contractor shall purchase and maintain a reasonable supply of Refuse Carts and Recyclables Carts to cover replacements for lost, damaged, and stolen Refuse Carts and Recyclable Carts, along with initial Refuse Carts and Recyclable Carts for new construction. The Village reserves the right to approve the type of Refuse Carts and Recyclable Carts to be purchased by the Contractor. For new Residential properties, the Contractor will provide either one 35, 64 or 96-gallon Refuse Cart to residents at no charge. For new Residential properties, the Contractor will also provide either one 35, 64 or 96- gallon Recyclables Cart to residents at no charge. Refuse and Recyclables Carts damaged or lost by the Contractor, Refuse and Recyclables Carts damaged by wildlife, and Refuse and Recyclables Carts damaged by normal wear-and-tear, shall be replaced at no charge by the Contractor. A quarterly audit for the replacement of broken Refuse and Recyclables Carts will be performed by the Contractor to determine what Refuse and Recyclables Carts need to be repaired. Refuse and Recyclables Carts otherwise damaged or lost will be replaced at the following costs to the resident: for the 35-gallon Refuse or Recyclables Cart, $55.00 for the first time cost and $70.00 for the second or further time cost; for the 64-gallon Refuse or Recyclables Cart, $65.00 for the first time cost and $80.00 for the second or further time cost; and for the 96-gallon Refuse or Recyclables Cart, $75.00 for the first time cost and $90.00 for t...

Collection Standards. In order for a Unit to be collected, each such Unit shall be properly prepared. Proper preparation shall mean all recyclables are contained within 65 or 96-gallon carts provided by the Contractor, with lids closed, and placed in an accessible curbside position, within two feet of the street and not behind or within four feet of another cart, parked car, mailbox, or other obstructions by 6:00 a.m. on collection day.
Collection Standards. 4.1 8.02.G Collection Standards, Collection of Excess Materials (Overages). Section 8.02.G shall be amended to read as follows: Contractor shall direct its employees to Collect an Overage on two (2) occasions each Rate Year at no additional cost to Customer. Contractor must provide a notice to Customer documenting the Overage in order to count the Overage Collection towards the (2) per Rate Year for each Customer. Customers that place an Overage for Collection for a third and subsequent events may be assessed an Overage fee by Contractor if Contractor has directly contacted the Customer via a phone call, voice message or other means of communication to notify them of the Overage Collected. Contractor shall bill Customer for a third and subsequent Overage events at no more than the Agency-approved Maximum Rates specified in Attachment Q. Contractor shall provide Customers the opportunity to request an Overage Collection service in advance. In such case, Contractor shall bill the Customer at no more than the Agency-approved Maximum Rate specified in Attachment Q. Contractor shall provide Customers the opportunity to subscribe to Overage Collection service, in advance, or purchase Overage tag(s) from the Contractor. Each Overage tag permits the Customer to set out one (1) thirty-two (32) gallon garbage bag of Solid Waste next to their Solid Waste Container on the Customer’s regularly scheduled collection day, for Collection by Contractor. Contractor shall provide Customers the opportunity to purchase Overage tags through its Customer service department or electronically via Contractor’s website. Contractor shall mail or deliver Overage tags to Customers within three (3) Business days of Customer’s request. The Maximum Rate for Overage tags is specified in Attachment Q and includes all aspects of purchasing the tags, printing, and distribution (i.e., mailing or direct delivery by Contractor). Customers shall also be provided the opportunity to purchase Overage tags at Contractor’s local office. The quantity of Overage tags per request from Customer shall be limited to five (5) per request. If the Agency and/or Contractor receive numerous Complaints (as determined by the Agency) from Customers regarding Customer dissatisfaction with the requirement to purchase Overage tags, the Agency reserves the right to require the Contractor to modify its Overage program to better serve its Customers and/or require the Customer to subscribe to additional Collection service.
