Common use of Citizen Complaint Clause in Contracts

Citizen Complaint. 7.8.1 Citizens' complaints shall not be investigated unless the applicable agency form has been completed and all provisions of the Agency’s Policies and Procedures are complied with. A copy of said complaint will be provided to the affected bargaining unit employee. If the notice could hinder the investigation, the investigator assigned may request, in writing, permission from the Office of the Director not to give this notice. Agency Complaint notices shall contain a list of policy and procedure violations which is limited to those provisions which are clearly, in good faith, relevant to the alleged misconduct. 7.9.1 Unless authorized by statute or policy, no bargaining unit employees shall be required to submit to a polygraph examination designed to measure the truthfulness of his or her responses during an investigation of a complaint or allegation of wrongdoing. 7.9.2 When a bargaining unit employee is questioned or interviewed concerning a complaint or allegation, he or she will be informed, prior to questioning of the nature of the investigation and whether he or she is a witness or subject at that time. All such interviews and questions shall be conducted in a professional manner.
