APPEAL TO BOARD OF EDUCATION. The CCS Board may appeal a decision of the District under this subsection to the State Board of Education. Throughout the appeals process, CCS shall remain closed at the discretion of the Board of Directors unless the State Board of Education orders the Board of Directors to open CCS and not terminate this Charter.

APPEAL TO BOARD OF EDUCATION. The Association may appeal a decision at Step 3 within seven (7) days after such decision, to the Board of Education, by requesting a hearing before the Board of Education or a Committee of the Board of Education. The hearing will be held within twenty-one (21) days after the request is received and a decision in writing shall be made within seven (7) days thereafter, a copy of which shall be sent to the aggrieved party and his/her representative. APPEAL TO BOARD OF EDUCATION. If the citizen or the professional staff member is not satisfied with the review committee's decision, either party may request a meeting with the Board in an attempt to resolve the situation. In all cases the final decision shall rest with the Board.

  • Board of Education a) If the unit member and the Association are not satisfied with the decision at Stage 2, the Grievance Committee will file an appeal in writing with the Board of Education within fifteen (15) school days after receiving the decision at Stage 2.   • Special Education Committee The parties agree to establish a committee comprised of representatives from ETFO, the Ministry of Education and school board leadership in the area of special education. The committee will discuss current issues as identified by the parties related to supporting students with special education needs. The committee shall meet regularly commencing no later than November 30, 2015 and recommendations will be made to the Minister of Education by April 30, 2016.
