Common use of Class Size Committee Clause in Contracts

Class Size Committee. 1. A joint class size committee shall be established within four (4) weeks after the execution date of this Agreement. The committee shall consist of two (2) representatives appointed by the Employer and two (2) representatives appointed by the Association.

Alternates or replacements of committee members shall be the sole prerogative of the party involved. No decision of the committee shall be binding if one or more of the committee members is not present when the decision is made. Further, the committee is authorized to hear and investigate complaints regarding class size and make rec- ommendations to the Superintendent regarding such complaints.
