Classroom Paraprofessional Assignment a. When a classroom paraprofessional has a current assignment which is seventy-five percent (75%) or less than the previous year’s assignment, the paraprofessional shall be assigned to the next available classroom paraprofessional or lunch room paraprofessional position in the District provided the times are compatible with his/her current assignment and he/she is qualified for the available position. When more than one classroom paraprofessional is affected, qualified and acceptable, the earlier date of hire shall be given preference.

If you participate in an early discharge, defined as inpatient care following a mastectomy that is less than forty-eight (48) hours and inpatient care following an axillary node dissection that is less than twenty-four (24) hours, coverage shall include a minimum of one (1) home visit conducted by a physician or registered nurse.
