Common use of Climbing Equipment Clause in Contracts

Climbing Equipment. The Company shall provide adequate training or retraining and a set of climbing gear to each employee it requires to climb. For purposes of this Agreement, “climbing gear” shall be understood to mean a body belt, a pole strap, and a set of climbers. Each employee is responsible for the care and maintenance of such equipment and any loss or damage which results from the employee’s negligence or abuse, will be at the expense of that employee. The Company retains the right to inspect the equipment at any time and to require the employee to provide an accounting of any loss or abuse.
