Clothing/Shoe Allowances. Each July, the City will provide an annual clothing allowance of Three Hundred Sixty Dollars ($360) for the purchase, cleaning and maintenance of pants and jackets. Pants shall be long and a dark color. This allowance shall be pro-rated for permanent part-time employees. Each July the City will pay an annu al shoe allowance of Two Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($225) per year to employees wh o, as a condition of employment, are required to wear safe ty shoes. This allowance can be used to purchase or resole employee safety shoes. In the event an employee's shoe s are damaged and / or worn, and /or unsafe as determined by the Safety Manager, the employee may request that damaged shoes be replaced provided:

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement to full time employees who have completed probation and who are employed in the kitchen and stewarding departments, once per year in the amount of $60.00 and once every two years in the amount of $60.00 for maintenance and banquet housepersons. The amount shall increase to $75, effective January 1, 2007. Employees will receive said amount as long as the shoes are approved by the employer and as long as the shoes are worn on the job.
