Travel time allowance. All employees shall be paid an allowance (See Appendix A) for each day on which they present themselves for work. The allowance shall also be paid for rostered days off.

Employees shall be paid their hourly rate, one way, according to the following schedule: < 35 km Free 35 to 65 km ½ Hour 66 to 100 km 1 Hour 100+ km Actual Time These travel distances are either measured from the city limits of the City of Windsor or from the Employer‟s shop, whichever is closer to the job site.
Travel time allowance. Time spent to and from the job will be paid at regular hourly rates up to a maximum of eight (8) hours per day in any one (1) day. Travel time will be calculated at an average of eighty (80) road kilometres per hour. Travel time shall be paid once at the beginning of the job and once at the termination of the job or termination of the worker's employment.

(i) Where community care employees are rostered to work with consecutive clients, they will be paid for the time taken to travel between locations at the rate of 3% of the ordinary pay per hour per kilometre travelled, excluding travel from the Employee’s home to the first place of work and return to home at the cessation of duties; provided that this payment will not be made if the Employee is being paid at the hourly rate of pay for the time between consecutive clients. An Employee who is paid the hourly rate of pay for time travelled between consecutive clients will not then be paid the travel time allowance if the overall salary of the Employee provides a less advantageous outcome.
Travel time allowance. Residence based employees There shall be a “free zone” identified as a forty (40 km) kilometre radius from the employee’s residence as determined by Google Maps. No travel time will be paid to and from jobs located in the free zone. Employees based from their residence as designated by the Employer shall be paid their regular hourly wage rate for all actual time spent travelling to jobsites outside of the free zone. Actual time for travel shall be determined as the time listed on Google Maps set for the shortest driving distance to jobsites from London City Hall. The time listed by Google Maps shall be rounded to the nearest quarter hour.
Travel time allowance. There shall be a "free zone" consisting of a ten (10) kilometre radius from the city limits of the city of Sarnia. Time spent travelling outside that distance shall be at one -half (½) the regular rate as paid time.
