Annual Clothing Allowance. The employer agrees to a $500.00 annual 46 clothing allowance for all full time employees who do not have a total secretarial job 1 function. All part time employees who meet the same description shall receive $200.00 2 annual clothing allowance.
Annual Clothing Allowance. The Employer will provide an annual clothing allowance account for each fiscal year (May 1 – April 30) for the use of each employee who has completed the probationary period except for Security Officers.
Annual Clothing Allowance. This one-time additional clothing payment is in addition to any clothing allowance received by employees in 2021 in accordance with Article 16.1.
Annual Clothing Allowance. Each employee shall receive a $600.00 clothing allowance credit on January 1 of each year. The clothing allowance will be placed in a bank which will be debited as the employee submits qualified clothing allowance expenses. Approved clothing allowance items are in the Department’s Uniform Policy.
Annual Clothing Allowance. Each employee shall receive annually the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for a clothing allowance which shall be paid in the first paycheck of the fiscal year. The foregoing allowance shall be for standard work uniforms, dress blues, hat, shoes, winter and summer jackets, white shirt and black tie, patches and black belt. Any other clothing or equipment that shall be required shall be provided by the Town. Any employee who has been on extended sick leave for at least thirty (30) consecutive calendar days during the contract year, their clothing maintenance allowance shall be prorated and deducted from their next clothing maintenance allowance.
Annual Clothing Allowance. 16.1 Effective July 1, 2011, the amount employees received for clothing allowance was increased to $850.00 per fiscal year. The allowance will be paid in accordance with PERS guidelines.
16.2 It is understood that the Department shall provide and maintain all employees with required safety equipment. The department shall provide two (2) sets of structural firefighting turnouts (i.e. bunker boots, turnout pants, and coat) for each employee. As sets are replaced, each employee will retain their serviceable turnouts as a spare. Any failure or refusal by any employee to care for and maintain a proper uniform or equipment shall be deemed cause for discipline.
Annual Clothing Allowance. Employees receive $995 per fiscal year for clothing allowance. The allowance will be paid in accordance with PERS guidelines.
Annual Clothing Allowance. The annual clothing allowance, available every July 1st if the budget has been passed by then, or after the annual budget has been passed, for officers will be $550.00, and for firefighters $525.00. In no event shall a member's clothing allowance accumulate beyond $600.00. Any balance beyond the $600.00 will be forfeited back to the Town. All members of the Department shall present a neat and uniformed appearance before the public. All clothing worn in the Department will match as closely as possible.
Annual Clothing Allowance. Each employee shall elect to either receive an annual cash dispersal of his/her clothing allowance in his/her January paycheck each year, or to remain on the Department clothing allowance purchasing method. The annual clothing allowance amount will be $550.00. For employees in the Fire Prevention Division and ALS Division the dollar amount will be $600.00. If the employee chooses not to receive the clothing allowance in his/her paycheck, then the clothing allowance will be credited to the employee’s clothing account which will be debited as the employee submits qualified clothing allowance expenses. Approved clothing allowance items are listed by employee classification in Administrative Policy 102, Clothing Standards. Items purchased on credit by the employee on a Department account will pay any cost difference exceeding their accrued clothing allowance balance via monthly payroll deduction. Employees shall be allowed to carry over up to a maximum amount equal to two times the employee’s annual clothing allowance into the following year. The clothing allowance balance shall never exceed two (2) times the employee’s annual allowance. Upon retirement, any balance up to two (2) years of accrual will be paid to the employee as a fringe benefit. Once an employee chooses to receive his/her clothing allowance on his/her paycheck, then that employee will no longer have the option of the Department holding their clothing allowance funds. Upon ratification of this Agreement, any clothing allowance balance as of that date shall be paid to employees who choose to receive the clothing allowance in their paychecks. Employees must decide by November 1 of each year if they are going to receive their clothing allowance on their paycheck for the following year.
Annual Clothing Allowance. The City shall pay each Member a yearly uniform allowance of $850 in 2013, 2014 and 2015. These amounts shall be payable in January each year. Probationary new hires shall receive an initial uniform allowance prorated based upon the above payment amounts. Upon termination of employment, each Member shall return to the City all equipment furnished by the City in good condition, minus normal wear. The City shall provide cleaning equipment and supplies for the maintenance of City uniforms and turnout gear in each station. These shall include, but are not limited to: washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, detergent, bleach, and fabric softener.
