Safety Manager. 34 The Safety Manager is responsible for establishing and supervising Developer’s safety program 35 and implementing and coordinating the Transportation Management Plan (TMP) per 23 CFR 37 holds at least a 1/3 beneficial interest in Developer, or (iii) the Lead Subcontractor, and must 38 report directly to the Project Manager. This individual must be assigned to the Project full time 39 and must be on-site during Construction Work. This individual must be familiar with FHWA work 40 zone safety regulations and must have at least 10 years of experience working in roadway work 41 zone safety and OSHA Regulations. The individual’s relevant experience includes the following: 42 A. 15 years on complex highway infrastructure projects.

Safety Manager. The following key managers and Key Personnel shall be assigned primarily to the Project Office, acknowledging that some time will be spent in the field or design offices during the performance of their responsibilities:
Safety Manager. The Contractor's obligation to provide adequate staffing is not limited to providing the key personnel, but is determined by the needs of the Project. The Contractor shall not replace any of the key personnel without the Department's prior written approval, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. If any of the key personnel become unavailable to perform services in connection with the Contract due to death, illness, discharge or resignation, then the Contractor shall promptly appoint a replacement acceptable to the Department. The Department shall be entitled to complete information on each such replacement, including a current resume of his or her qualifications and experience.
Safety Manager. At all times during construction performance, the Contractor shall have on the Project Site a competent Safety Manager, or his or her designee, who is satisfactory to Owner and has authority to act for the Contractor. The Safety Manager must be a full-time dedicated position with no other duties or responsibilities other than safety. The Contractor’s Safety Manager must be an employee of the Contractor.
Safety Manager. If Contractor, its Subcontractors and/or Sub-subcontractors have over fifty (50) employees collectively on the Jobsite, Contractor shall be required to have a full-time safety manager on Site during execution of the Work. It shall be Contractor's responsibility to flow this requirement down to the Subcontractors and Sub-subcontractors. Owner reserves the right to review the qualifications of those proposed to execute the duties of safety manager and approve them. Safety managers will have functional accountability to Owner's safety manager.
Safety Manager. The detailed requirements for the Safety Manager position are set forth at Appendix D. The Safety Manager shall support and provide independent audits and assessments of the training and qualification of personnel, shall support and coordinate documentation related to the SSPP, and shall monitor the safety of Contractor employees in the performance of Services. The Safety Manager shall be available to support Contractor personnel at night, on weekends, or during the performance of Extraordinary Work and will report any personal injury in accordance with the requirements of 49 CFR 225, Railroad Accidents/Incidents, attached hereto at Appendix F in the version current as of the Effective Date of this Agreement. The Safety Manager shall develop a safety program for maintenance services reflecting best practices in the railroad industry.

Safety Manager. A qualified and experienced Safety Manager who, with respect to a Construction Work Package: oversees and manages Jobsite safety and accident prevention and administers the Contractor’s construction safety program; reviews the proposed safety program of each Subcontractor and Supplier; and conducts a review of job safety and accident prevention at the Contractor’s progress meetings with Subcontractors and Suppliers.
