Codes of Student Conduct. It is the intention of the parties that teachers and administrators work in a mutually supportive manner to maintain proper student discipline. 21.1.1 In order to improve consistency and accountability in student discipline, ECRA shall develop and issue (and may revise from time to time) a Code of Student Conduct. UTLA shall be one of the principal participating stakeholders in that process, and ECRA will be responsible for posting, distributing these rules as well as updates; 21.1.2 A teacher shall also have the right to issue and enforce reasonable rules of classroom conduct applicable to students in the teacher's classes, supplemental to and consistent with the ECRA Code of Student Conduct.

  • Student Conduct Students are required to adhere to School District and College policies, procedures, and regulations regarding facilities and equipment usage and both School District and College codes of student conduct as well as the Alamo Colleges District Student Responsibility for Success Policy. All disciplinary action, including suspension and dismissal from the College, shall be in conformity with the Codes of student conduct of the Parties. All Students will be provided access to the Alamo Colleges District eCatalog, Student Code of Conduct, Student Handbook, and Title IX / Clery Act materials in the same manner as all other students enrolled in the College. For additional information on the College student conduct policies, please refer to the College’s Catalog at xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx/content.php?catoid=175&navoid=10909. In the event of a conflict between the policies of School District and College, the Parties will collaborate to resolve any conflict. The School District and the College will inform one another of complaints against a Student. The party which receives a complaint of non-academic misconduct may investigate the complaint and reach a decision on responsibility for violations of the applicable student code of conduct, but must notify the other party of sanctions before they are issued. Students who are in violation of policies and codes of conduct will, where appropriate, return to the School District’s high school, if any, and will not be allowed to return to any College facility. The Parties will cooperate fully with each other in any investigation involving student misconduct or conduct that threatens or potentially threatens the safety of others and the college campus. The Parties will cooperate fully with each other as necessary in all matters pertaining to complaints, grievances and appeals regarding student conduct issues. The definition of “cooperation” includes providing access to students or other persons who may be witnesses or persons with knowledge of relevant facts. Students may be sanctioned the same as other post-secondary College students and may be subject to exclusion from the College campus and College properties. The Alamo Colleges District board policy F.4.5 states that Students who violate federal or state statutes, the Student Code of Conduct, Alamo Colleges District policy, or other applicable requirements related to alcohol and drug use shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary action. Such disciplinary action may include referral to drug and alcohol counseling or rehabilitation programs or student assistance programs, suspension, expulsion, and referral to appropriate law enforcement officials for prosecution.

  • WORKING RULES B6.1 Subject to the terms of this Agreement, the Employer shall determine the number of employees required. B6.3 At the discretion of the Employer, employees may be changed from one classification to another within the jurisdiction of the Union provided that the employee is capable and qualified to perform the work. B6.4 Subject to the employee being capable and qualified to perform the work, no employee's hourly rate shall be lowered under these provisions, and if an employee is assigned to work calling for a higher rate of pay he shall receive such higher rate of pay for the full day. During emergencies, any employee of the Employer may be assigned to any work, provided, however, that no employee's hourly rate shall be lowered under this provision, and provided further that in the event an employee is assigned to work called for a higher rate of pay, he shall receive such higher rate for the full day. B6.5 The Employer shall make arrangements in each locality where employees are employed to enable such employees to cash their pay cheques or, where it is impracticable to do so, will provide any employee within twenty-four (24) hours written request with a cheque in the equivalent of subsistence allowance payable. Where camps are provided in remote areas devoid of normal banking facilities, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to provide cheque cashing facilities, it being understood that where it is impracticable to do so, suitable substitute provisions shall be agreed at the Pre-job Conference. All cheques to be negotiable at par. B6.6 On jobs where camps are provided the Employer shall insure the personal effects of each employee against loss by fire in an amount not to exceed seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) provided an inventory of such personal effects is filed with the Employer. B6.7 The Employer shall provide gloves and coveralls to each employee who normally comes in contact with hot dope. In the event that an employee does not return the foregoing items supplied to him by the Employer, the Employer shall charge the cost of same to the employee and deduct this cost from any money owing to the employee.
