Education - Asthma This plan covers asthma education services when the services are prescribed by a physician and performed by a certified asthma educator.
School Any public elementary or secondary school including a charter school, universal pre- kindergarten program authorized pursuant to Education Law § 3602-e, an approved provider of preschool special education, any other publicly funded pre-kindergarten program, a school serving children in a special act school district as defined in Education Law § 4001, an approved private school for the education of students with disabilities, a State-supported school subject to the provisions of Article 85 of the Education Law, or a State-operated school subject to the provisions of Articles 87 or 88 of the Education Law.
College has the sole right to control and direct the instructional activities of all instructors, including those who are SCHOOL DISTRICT employees.
CULTURAL DIVERSITY The Cultural Diversity Requirement generally does not add units to a student's program. Rather, it is intended to be fulfilled by choosing courses from the approved list that also satisfy requirements in other areas of the student’s program; the exception is that Cultural Diversity courses may not satisfy Culture and Language Requirements for B.S. students. For example, Anthropology 2 can fulfill (3) units of the Social and Behavioral Science requirement and (3) units of the Cultural Diversity requirement. This double counting of a class may only be done with the Cultural Diversity requirement. Courses in Cultural Diversity may be taken at the lower-division or upper-division level. U . S . School Day A. The length of the school day shall be seven (7) hours and five (5) minutes inclusive of the arrival and departure time.
Summer Students a) Summer Students shall not be employed while Employees on Seniority List A or B are on lay off in their respective trades.
