Common use of College Holidays Clause in Contracts

College Holidays. In the event that an employee is required to work on a holiday, the employee will receive compensation at double the straight time hourly rate for a minimum of two (2) hours or for the actual hours worked if more than two (2) hours on the holiday, plus holiday pay. An employee called in or scheduled to work on a holiday is compensated under this Holiday pay provision (Article XI) and not the Call-in pay provision (Article XI).
