Common use of Combination of Leaves Clause in Contracts

Combination of Leaves. If an employee’s position is being held while the employee is on one type of Article XXI leave and their circumstances change, the Bargaining Unit Member may request another type of Article XXI leave. If the employee’s position is not being held, the Bargaining Unit Member may not request another type of leave. In no event will any combination of personal leaves and illness or disability leaves extend beyond two (2) years.
