Chain of Command. To preserve sufficient time for the Board to conduct its business, any person appearing before the Board is expected to follow these guidelines:

Chain of Command. A. As employees of the Police Department, SROs will be subject to the chain of command of the Police Department.
B. In the performance of their duties, SROs shall coordinate and communicate with the principal or the principals’ designee of the school to which they are assigned.

Chain of Command. Employees shall be required to act only on directions made under the direct or delegated authority of their immediate Xxxxxxx, Supervisor or Department Head, subject always to the overall directions of the Municipal Manager.
Chain of Command. Electricians will, as a general rule, not be required to take directions in reference to the work being performed other than from their Electrical Xxxxxxx.
Chain of Command. It is recognized that the responsibility for directing the routine activities of the Employees on behalf of the Township is vested in the Director of Public Safety. The Director of Public Safety may delegate such authority in such manner as he/she may determine and is consistent with applicable Township Rules and Ordinances. Until such time as the Township Board or the Township Supervisor authorizes other persons or entities to direct the activities of such Employees, by appropriate ordinance or otherwise, the Employees shall be obligated to obey the orders or directions of the Director of Public Safety and the established Chain of Command. It is further recognized that the right and responsibility for establishing an appropriate command structure is vested solely in the Township Board. The Township or the Department may provide Personnel Rules for use, in the Township or in the Department. In any conflict between the Township or Departmental Rules and this Agreement, this Agreement shall take precedence. It is agreed that an Association member shall be a part of a committee to discuss and inspect proposed Department Personnel Rules prior to their implementation.

District management duties include, without limitation, preparing, submitting, publishing, and posting reports and notifications as required by State and federal law, including the special reporting responsibilities in policy 5:90, Abused and Neglected Child Reporting. The Superintendent is authorized to develop administrative procedures and take other action as needed to implement Board policy and otherwise fulfill his or her responsibilities. The Superintendent may delegate to other District staff members the exercise of any powers and the discharge of any duties imposed upon the Superintendent by Board policies or by Board vote. The delegation of power or duty, however, shall not relieve the Superintendent of responsibility for the action that was delegated.
Chain of Command. Teachers shall be informed during In-Service week by the Superintendent as to the appropriate chain of command in the event the site’s principal is not available.
Chain of Command. The following steps should be followed when any problem arises with the player and the coach.
A. The athlete talks to the immediate coach of the team.
B. The athlete and parent talk to the immediate coach of the team.
C. The athlete, parents, immediate coach and the director will meet. (The director will not discuss playing time in tournaments)
