Common use of Commercial Driver’s License Clause in Contracts

Commercial Driver’s License. All mechanics are required to have a commercial driver's license as a condition of employment with the following exceptions: o At locations with 15 or more employees, mechanics who are not able to obtain a commercial driver's license or lose their commercial driver's license for any reason, will be allowed to continue to work; however, the Company may assign them to a specific shift where a commercial driver's license is not necessary. o At locations with less than 15 employees, mechanics who lose their commercial driver's license for any reason will be given an unpaid leave of absence not to exceed one year.
