Commercial Food Waste Collection. Contractor shall offer collection of source-separated Food Waste on a subscription basis to Commercial customers that are subscribed for Solid Waste collection service from Contractor and that generate at least two (2) cubic yards per week of Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials, Greenwaste and/or Food Waste, combined, unless the County confirms with the Contractor in writing that the customer is exempt from Food Waste collection service. Service shall be provided using Contractor-provided 64-gallon carts, and offered at the frequency(ies) shown on Exhibit B, but no less than weekly.

Commercial Food Waste Collection. On or before fifteen (15) months 32 after the date that CITY adopts an Ordinance requiring Organics 33 Collection and CITY and CONTRACTOR agree to rates to be charged for 34 such service CONTRACTOR shall implement a Commercial Food Waste 35 Collection in accordance with the implementation plan included in Exhibit 36 A, which is attached to and included in this Agreement. 37 CONTRACTOR shall provide 65 gallon Carts for Collection of Food 38 Waste from all Commercial Service Units requesting Food Waste 39 Collection and shall Collect and deliver to the appropriate processing 40 facility the Food Waste Collected from such Customers. In no event less 1 than twice per week CONTRACTOR shall Collect Food Waste from 2 Commercial Services Units. 3 CONTRACTOR may not apply an additional charge for Commercial 4 Food Waste Collection unless specifically authorized by the then current 5 CITY rate setting or for extra services as may be authorized by the CITY 6 under this Agreement under Section 9.a. CONTRACTOR may charge for 7 Collection of additional Food Waste Collection Carts (two (2) or more 8 Organic Carts) in accordance with the approved Maximum Rates in 9 Exhibit C.
Commercial Food Waste Collection. Commercial Customers that generate Food Waste shall have the option of voluntarily subscribing to Commercial Food Waste Collection services and shall pay Contractor for such service in accordance with City approved Rates. Contractor is encouraged to proactively seek out Commercial Customers to subscribe to Food Waste Collection services. Contractor shall collect Commercial Food Waste from Commercial Premises as frequently as scheduled by Customer, between one (1) and six (6) times per week. Contractor shall provide each Customer with a choice of Cart Containers or Bin Containers for Food Waste Collection as specified in Article 9.04. Contractor shall Collect Food Waste Materials at the location agreed upon by Contractor and Customer. The designated Collection location, if disputed by Customer or Contractor, shall be approved by the City.

  • Solid Waste Management General. The Airport is required by city ordinance to achieve a solid waste recycling rate of 75% by 2012 and 100% by 2020. Tenants are required to cooperate with the Airport to maximize the rate of solid waste recycling and source separation. Airport’s Work. The Airport will supply specially designed solid waste containers for depositing paper, bottles and cans, and general trash in the public areas of the terminal including Tenant public areas. The Airport will provide waste containers for public disposal of food waste and compostable serviceware in the vicinity of Food and Beverage leaseholds. Tenant’s Work. Tenants are required to collect the solid waste generated in back offices in containers designated for paper, bottles& cans, and general trash and deposit the content of each container in the designated bins at collection areas. All Food and Beverage Concessions are required to collect food waste and compostable serviceware in separate containers and deposit the contents in designated compostable materials bins at collection areas.

  • Waste Disposal Tenant shall store its waste either inside the Premises or within outside trash enclosures that are fully fenced and screened in compliance with all Private Restrictions, and designed for such purpose. All entrances to such outside trash enclosures shall be kept closed, and waste shall be stored in such manner as not to be visible from the exterior of such outside enclosures. Tenant shall cause all of its waste to be regularly removed from the Premises at Tenant’s sole cost. Tenant shall keep all fire corridors and mechanical equipment rooms in the Premises free and clear of all obstructions at all times.

  • National Environmental Policy Act All subrecipients must comply with the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) 42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq., and the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) Regulations (40 C.F.R. Parts 1500-1508) for Implementing the Procedural Provisions of NEPA, which requires Subrecipients to use all practicable means within their authority, and consistent with other essential considerations of national policy, to create and maintain conditions under which people and nature can exist in productive harmony and fulfill the social, economic, and other needs of present and future generations of Americans.

  • Environmental Tobacco Smoke Public Law 103-227 (also known as the Pro-Children Act of 1994) and Vermont’s Act 135 (2014) (An act relating to smoking in lodging establishments, hospitals, and child care facilities, and on State lands) restrict the use of tobacco products in certain settings. Party shall ensure that no person is permitted: (i) to use tobacco products or tobacco substitutes as defined in 7 V.S.A. § 1001 on the premises, both indoor and outdoor, of any licensed child care center or afterschool program at any time; (ii) to use tobacco products or tobacco substitutes on the premises, both indoor and in any outdoor area designated for child care, health or day care services, kindergarten, pre-kindergarten, elementary, or secondary education or library services; and (iii) to use tobacco products or tobacco substitutes on the premises of a licensed or registered family child care home while children are present and in care. Party will refrain from promoting the use of tobacco products for all clients and from making tobacco products available to minors. Failure to comply with the provisions of the federal law may result in the imposition of a civil monetary penalty of up to $1,000 for each violation and/or the imposition of an administrative compliance order on the responsible entity. The federal Pro-Children Act of 1994, however, does not apply to portions of facilities used for inpatient drug or alcohol treatment; service providers whose sole source of applicable federal funds is Medicare or Medicaid; or facilities where Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) coupons are redeemed.

  • Emergency Transportation Ambulance services for emergencies.

  • Dangerous Goods, Special Wastes, Pesticides and Harmful Substances Where employees are required to work with or are exposed to any dangerous good, special waste, pesticide or harmful substance, the Employer shall ensure that the employees are adequately trained in the identification, safe handling, use, storage, and/or disposal of same.

  • Environmental Pollution Unless disposition of environmental pollution is specifically a part of this contract, PURCHASER shall immediately notify STATE of any hazardous substance(s) which PURCHASER discovers or encounters during performance of the operation. "Hazardous substance(s)" are those substances, materials, or wastes regulated by state or federal law. PURCHASER shall immediately cease operating in any particular area of the operations where a hazardous substance(s) has been discovered or encountered, if continued operations in such area would present a bona fide risk or danger to the health or well being of PURCHASER's or any subcontractor's work force. Upon being notified by PURCHASER of the presence of hazardous substance(s) on the areas of operations, STATE shall arrange for the proper disposition of such hazardous substance(s).

  • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Contractor understands that HHS does not tolerate any type of fraud, waste, or abuse. Violations of law, agency policies, or standards of ethical conduct will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken. Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 321.022, if the administrative head of a department or entity that is subject to audit by the state auditor has reasonable cause to believe that money received from the state by the department or entity or by a client or contractor of the department or entity may have been lost, misappropriated, or misused, or that other fraudulent or unlawful conduct has occurred in relation to the operation of the department or entity, the administrative head shall report the reason and basis for the belief to the Texas State Auditor’s Office (SAO). All employees or contractors who have reasonable cause to believe that fraud, waste, or abuse has occurred (including misconduct by any HHS employee, Grantee officer, agent, employee, or subcontractor that would constitute fraud, waste, or abuse) are required to immediately report the questioned activity to the Health and Human Services Commission's Office of Inspector General. Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and System Agency policies regarding fraud, waste, and abuse including, but not limited to, HHS Circular C-027.
