Common use of Committee Established Clause in Contracts

Committee Established. The Parties agree to establish a Joint Benefits Committee. The committee shall be equally represented and shall consist of: • not more than eight representatives of the Employers; and • not more than eight representatives of the Support Staff bargaining units (The Joint committee will include equal representation between representatives of CUPE local unions and BCGEU bargaining units). (Representatives may include employees of PSEA and/or the Unions) Leaves of absence for union committee members shall be granted in accordance with local collective agreements.
