Company Time Sample Clauses

The "Company Time" clause defines the periods during which an employee is expected to devote their working hours exclusively to the employer's business. Typically, this clause clarifies that any work performed during standard business hours, or as otherwise scheduled by the company, is considered company time and should not be used for personal projects or outside employment. Its core practical function is to ensure that the employer receives the full benefit of the employee's labor during paid working hours and to prevent conflicts of interest or misuse of company resources.
Company Time. 4.2.1. Company time includes all of the time during the period when we are assigned to work. We will make the best use of our time, and that of our colleagues, while meeting our obligations to our customers and owners. We will be on the job when scheduled and conform to the company’s rules governing our day-to-day performance. We also must truthfully and accurately report our work hours. 4.2.2. Company employees who work full time for the company may not seek or accept other employment without the express written consent of a vice president, the chief executive officer, or the board of directors.
Company Time. This applies to courses taken for career advancement or career progression within an Employee’s functional career path and/or for a career change to another functional area upon the suggestion of a career counselor. Employees may use personal or vacation time to fulfill their 50% or may make up time within the flex hours.

  • Crib Time (i) When an Employee is required to work overtime after the usual ceasing time for the day or shift for two hours or more, he/she shall be allowed to take, without deduction of pay, a crib time of twenty minutes in duration immediately after such ceasing time and thereafter, after each four hours of continuous work, he/she shall be allowed to take also, without deduction of pay, a crib time of 30 minutes in duration. (ii) In the event of an Employee remaining at work after the usual ceasing time without taking the crib time of twenty minutes and continuing at work for a period of two hours or more, he/she shall be regarded as having worked twenty minutes more than the time worked and be paid accordingly.

  • Flex Time Agencies shall, where practicable, establish flex time work schedules for their employees. Such flex time work schedules shall guarantee the Employer's ability to provide services, to meet all workload demands as defined by the Employer, and to the extent practicable, meet employees' personal scheduling preferences. Approval of such requests shall not be unreasonably denied.

  • Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.

  • Business Time From and after the Effective Date, the Executive agrees to devote his full attention during normal business hours to the business and affairs of the Company and to use his best efforts to perform faithfully and efficiently the responsibilities assigned to him hereunder, to the extent necessary to discharge such responsibilities, except for (i) time spent in managing his personal, financial and legal affairs and serving on corporate, civic or charitable boards or committees, in each case only if and to the extent not substantially interfering with the performance of such responsibilities, and (ii) periods of vacation and sick leave to which he is entitled. It is expressly understood and agreed that the Executive's continuing to serve on any boards and committees on which he is serving or with which he is otherwise associated immediately preceding the Effective Date shall not be deemed to interfere with the performance of the Executive's services to the Company.

  • Leave Time During the Employment Period, Employee shall be entitled to paid vacation and leave days each calendar year in accordance with the leave policies established by Employer from time to time. Any leave time not used during each fiscal year of Employer may be carried over into the next year to the extent permitted by Employer policy.
