Compensation for Holiday Falling on Scheduled Day Off. (1) Subject to subsection (2) and (3), where a holiday falls on a day that is a day of rest for an employee, that employee is entitled to leave of absence with pay on another working day immediately following the holiday. (2) Where an employee is required to perform the duties of her position on this working day immediately following a holiday that coincides with a day of rest, the employee shall be granted leave of absence with pay on such other working day as mutually agreed. (3) This Article shall not apply to an employee during any period she is on leave of absence without pay, absent without leave, or under suspension.
