Compensatory Leave in Lieu of Overtime Payment. (a) The employer shall grant compensatory leave subject to operational requirements and at a time convenient to both the employee and the Employer. (b) Any outstanding compensatory leave earned during a twelve (12)-month period ending June 30 of each year but not liquidated by December 31 of the same year, shall be paid in cash within one (1) month immediately following the date for liquidation of the leave, at the applicable overtime rate, based upon the employee’s hourly rate of pay at the time of payout.
