Compensatory Time Off In Lieu Of Overtime Pay. A. Compensation for overtime work, by mutual agreement of the Supervisor and the employee, may be in compensatory time off in an amount equal to one and one-half (1 1/2) times the number of hours worked. B. Earned compensatory time may be scheduled off by mutual agreement of the employee and the employee’s Supervisor. C. The Department will develop a policy to determine the maximum amount of compensatory time that may be accumulated. Such policy may also set a date or time period by which compensatory time will be used and if not used that it will be paid for at the prescribed rate.
