Competence, Training, and Awareness. The PennDOT unit shall ensure that any person(s) performing tasks for it or on its behalf that have the potential to cause a significant environmental impact(s) is (are) competent on the basis of appropriate education, training or experience, and shall retain associated records. The PennDOT unit shall identify training needs associated with its environmental aspects and its EMS. It shall provide training or take other action to meet these needs, and shall retain associated records.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.
